About
Dar es Salaam International Academy is a boutique international school located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. With a student body and faculty consisting of over 30 nationalities it is a truly culturally diverse environment.
With special focus being paid to the importance of the relationship between school, home and community (also reflected in our mission statement and school logo) we are beyond doubt a tight knit group, often dubbed the “DIA Family”.
Dar es Salaam International Academy aspires to deliver high quality international education to our very diverse student body in a nurturing environment.
To inspire a passion for learning, foster a sense of wonder and curiosity, and teach responsible citizenship through a partnership between school, home and community.
To develop, sustain and maintain academic excellence, together with a balanced, holistic curriculum that is relevant to the students' day to day life experience.
At Dar es Salaam International Academy, a lot of work and thought goes into providing a holistic education for our students. We emphasize the importance of school, home and community working as a cohesive unit. This allows us to provide a nurturing and tolerant environment on a daily basis
It is the vision of the founders and management of the school, to provide an international education that is ever evolving and contributes to educating and fostering the global citizens of tomorrow.
As we attempt to achieve this goal, we continuously remind ourselves of the immense responsibility we have undertaken, and ensure that our motivation and drive as educators consistenly reflects our vision and mission effectively.
